These terms govern your use of tminus1.io. Read them before you use the site.

Who runs this site

tMinus1 PTY LTD, ABN 73 658 009 717, ACN 658 009 717, at 503/3 Foreshore Place, Wentworth Point, NSW 2127, Australia. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean that company. "You" means anyone who uses this site.

These terms apply when you use the site

If you use this site, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the site.

We change these terms when we need to. The date at the top is the date of the current version, and that version applies to your use of the site at that time.

The content here is information, not advice

We write about AWS, cloud architecture, security and AI systems in production. Everything on this site — pages, blog posts, case studies, numbers, diagrams and downloads — is general information. It is not professional advice about your situation.

Reading this site does not make you our client. We advise you only under a signed engagement. Do not act on something you read here without checking it against your own systems, your own obligations and your own risk.

Where we describe a result from past work, that result came from a specific system under specific conditions. It is not a promise of the same result for you.

Where we mention AWS funding programs, AWS decides who qualifies, not us. You may qualify. We cannot guarantee it.

Acceptable use

Use this site lawfully. Do not do any of the following:

Try to get unauthorised access to any part of this site, or to the systems behind it.
Scan, probe or test the site for weaknesses without our written permission.
Request pages at a rate that degrades the site, or work around a rate limit or an access control.
Use a form or our email address to send spam, malware or anything unlawful.
Impersonate us or anybody else.
Send us another person's personal information without their consent.
Republish our content as part of a competing commercial product.
Harvest content from this site by automated means to train a model, without our written permission.

If you find a security problem in this site, email hey@tminus1.io and tell us. Do not exploit it. We will not pursue you for a report made in good faith.

We may block access if you break these rules.

Intellectual property

We own the content of this site, or we use it with permission. That covers the text, the layout, the graphics, the photography, the video, the code, and the tMinus1 name and logo. Australian and international copyright law protects it.

You may read the site, print a page for your own use, and share a link. You may quote a short passage if you credit tMinus1 and link to the source.

You may not republish our content, sell it, or build a derivative work from it without our written permission. Ask us at hey@tminus1.io.

Other company names, product names and logos on this site belong to their owners. We use them to identify those products. Their presence does not mean the owner endorses us, except where we state a partnership that exists.

Links and third-party content

We link to other websites, and our pages load fonts, scripts and media from third-party services. We do not control any of them. A link is not an endorsement. We are not responsible for what another site says, or for what it does with your information. Read that site's own terms and privacy policy.

What you send us

Do not send us confidential information through a web form. Use a signed non-disclosure agreement for that.

If you send us a question, an idea or feedback through this site, you keep ownership of it, and you confirm that you have the right to send it. We may use it to answer you and to improve what we do.

Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with personal information.

Availability

We try to keep the site up and correct. We do not promise that it is always available, always accurate, or free of errors. We may change, move or remove any page without notice.

Limitation of liability

The Australian Consumer Law gives you rights that we cannot exclude. Nothing in these terms limits those rights, or any other right you hold under a law that cannot be contracted out of.

Subject to that:

We provide this site "as is", and we exclude every warranty that the law allows us to exclude.
We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special or incidental loss, or for lost profit, lost revenue, lost data or lost business opportunity, however it arises.
Where a consumer guarantee applies and the law permits us to limit our liability, we limit it to supplying the information again.
Otherwise, and where the law permits a cap, our total liability for all claims connected to this site is limited to AUD 100.

Governing law

The law of New South Wales, Australia governs these terms. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and of the courts that hear appeals from them.
